There’s a gap in Indian agriculture that doesn’t get talked about enough. On one side, you have growers and researchers who genuinely understand crops — the biology, the breeding, the production requirements. On the other side, you have a fragmented supply chain of vendors selling parts of a solution without really understanding the whole system. SS Agritech was built to sit squarely in the middle of that gap and fill it properly.
We’re based in Hyderabad, and we work with commercial crop producers, urban farming ventures, universities, research institutions, and some of the largest seed companies operating in India. Our focus is controlled environment agriculture — greenhouses, polyhouses, hydroponic systems, vertical farms, speed breeding facilities, and everything in between.
The Work We Actually Do
Here’s the thing about agritech infrastructure: it only works when every layer talks to every other layer. A climate system that isn’t integrated with your irrigation schedule. A greenhouse structure that wasn’t designed for your specific crop height and canopy density. A fertigation setup calibrated for the wrong substrate. These aren’t hypothetical problems — they’re what happens when projects are assembled from disconnected vendors.
We take a different approach. Every project SS Agritech delivers is designed as an integrated system from day one. We handle concept planning, structural design, greenhouse construction, hydroponic integration, climate control, spectral lighting, irrigation, automation, and agronomic support — not as separate contracts, but as one connected scope of work.
Our expertise covers a wide range: large-scale commercial greenhouses and naturally ventilated polyhouses, polycarbonate greenhouse structures, advanced speed breeding and research facilities for crop development programs, NFT and deep water culture hydroponic systems, substrate-based growing setups using cocopeat and Dutch bucket technology, vertical farming with spectral LED grow lights, and precision fertigation and irrigation automation.
